We specialize in assisting our clients to obtain the best value for their money and to identify key objectives to assure satisfaction when purchasing a new boat. This can only be done by objectively analyzing our clients experience, expertise, yachting purposes, quality standards, aesthetic taste, and budget constraints.

Purchasing a yacht is a very demanding and technically challenging exercise.

It could take up to or more than one year of research and test sails until you are sure you have found the "right" boat.

Our experience and objectivity insure our clients will get the right boat and for the right price. We will not steer you towards favored designs, builders, or unproven concepts. We will find you good value for the money and the best fit for your intended use. We are not constrained to any one builder, location, or designer. We only have ONE objective: and that is to make sure you climb aboard your boat, living your dream and enjoying your passions.

BROKERAGE - RETAINED BUYER'S AGENT

We guarantee to work exclusively for the client. Unlike a normal yacht broker who legally is a paid agent for the seller, a Bluenose Yachts buyer's agent is 100% devoted to your satisfaction and only represents you, the BUYER.

Our unique Buyer's Agent Responsibilities:

Perform a detailed interview with client to determine needs, experience, yachting plans, goals and objectives.
Review a written summary with client to validate accuracy of interview.
Prepare, compile and forwards a summary of search engine results within one week of interview completion.
Review search summary with client.
View 2-6 yachts depending upon client's comments on summary.
Arrange for test sails.
Prepare data sheet on comparable competitively priced yachts.
Create comparison data sheets regarding yacht's features.
Investigate yacht's owner history including lien status.
Assist in P&S agreement.
Facilitate surveyor selection.
Participate in survey.
Review and prepare comments on written survey.
Assist in financing and insurance options.
Coordinate title and documentation papers.
Attend to final closing details.
Assist with delivery.
Other duties as requested by client.

BROKERAGE - RETAINED SELLER'S AGENT

We are 100% committed to selling your yacht in the shortest reasonable time possible and at the highest price.

Selling Agent's Responsibilities :

Prepare professional listing with photos.
Create individual website location listing yacht.
Advertise and list on 3-6 other search sites.
Include yacht in print ads where applicable.
Send sales brochures to database of clients.
Email sales brochures to dealers and brokers.
Quality all prospective customers via phone interview.
Meet with customers when showing your yacht.
Timely follow-up to all customers.
Attend and participate in yacht survey.
Assist buyer financing and insurance options.
Negotiate best price and terms with buyer.

Professional sales and marketing efforts.
