The winch controls, furling controls, bow thruster controls, are all conveniently placed on the steering pedestal for easy access. SAILS and RIGGING The Farr 56 is supplied with a custom Forespar solid rod rig, a batten car system, and fully battened mainsail with the new generation of boom furling systems.The rig has a hydraulic furled cutter stay. There is a Navtec manual hydraulic package that controls the vang and backstay together with powered winches that allows complete push button control from the safety of the cockpit.
