Accommodations

Master stateroom:  The focal point of the master stateroom as you enter is the island queen berth. On either side of the berth at the head are nightstand surfaces on either side, with storage beneath both. Teak staving lines the hullsides and above the nightstands are double door lockers on either side. Aft of that is more staving, with opening ports in the hull. On the starboard side below the port area is a fiddled shelf area, with top access as well as an opening door to storage below. Aft of that is a full height hanging locker.

On the port side is a dressing table, with an oval mirror above it and storage beneath the lid. The leather upholstered seat faces aft, with storage below it. Above the dressing table and along the hull is a large locker with shelving. Aft of the dressing table is a curved panel door; inside it is a walk-in cedar lined hanging locker with shelves.

Headroom in here is 6’1”. There are four opening overhead hatches, two opening hullside ports, one dorade vent, four overhead lights and one reading light at the vanity.

Master head: The master head is on port and ensuite to the master stateroom. As you enter, the sink and head are to your left. The compartment is a modular fiberglass unit for easy wipe down. There is a locker beneath the sink and mirrored hinged medicine cabinet doors.; the floor has a large teak shower grate and there is an overhead hatch for ventilation

To the right is a circular shower, with a teak shower grate and an acrylic curved sliding door. The shower is on an adjustable height bar and there is an overhead hatch for ventilation and an overhead LED light.  Headroom is 6’1” in the main area and 6’3” in the shower.

Salon: Moving aft into the salon from the master stateroom, there is a comfortable L-shaped leather settee on port, with storage beneath and behind the seating. A pair of lockers are above the seatback on the forward bulkhead, while along the hull is a fiddled shelf, teak hullside staving and an opening port.

Across on starboard is a large, U-shaped dinette that can seat eight. There is storage beneath and behind the seating, cherry staving along the hull and an opening port. Headroom in the salon is 7’.  For lighting and ventilation in the salon there are four overhead fixed lights, two opening hatches, two opening ports and two dorade vents.

Nav station:  The nav station is on port in the salon and forward facing. The seat is upholstered in leather, wide, comfortable and has storage beneath it. The chart table is huge, with lots of storage inside it and a nice integral pencil tray. The electronics console wraps around the nav desk, with the instruments arranged nicely and in easy reach. Outboard by your left arm is a pull-out drawer and a slide out shelf with a large storage area beneath it. The chart plotter and electrical controls are above that. Headroom here is 7’.

Galley: The galley on the Feeling 546 is enormous and has loads of counterspace. L-shaped, it is to the right between the aft cabins and the salon. Starting at the aft end along the hull, there is a tip-out bin with shelves to the right of the stove and a lift-up in the countertop with storage below. Moving around to the left is the stove, with a cubby space and drawer beneath it for pots and pans. To the left of the stove is a front-loading refrigerator space, followed by a top loading freezer space. Both units are lined with stainless steel and function as a spill-over system for cooling the refrigeration space. Along the hull behind the countertops are the microwave and three large lockers.

The counter L’s out at this point, with a large locker beneath the single sink and a double door unit with integral drawers to the left of that. On top is a smaller sink with a Corian/cutting board insert and a round lift-up Corian lid for access to the rubbish bin. There are tall teak sculpted fiddles surrounding the countertops and a continuous grab rail runs along the hull above the lockers, providing good handholds throughout.

Aft head: The aft head is located on port between the nav station and the aft cabin. The space is predominantly fiberglass, keeping maintenance easy. Headroom in here is 6’3”; as you enter the space the head is directly ahead of you and the sink is to your left. The toilet sits in a niche and has a locker above it. Moving around toward the sink are upper and lower lockers, with another locker under the sink as you continue around. Above the round sink is a mirrored door medicine cabinet and a shelf area beside that. There is a shower wand on a slide bar to the left of the sink. A teak shower grate covers most of the floor. There is an overhead hatch with a shade, two LED lights and a dorade vent.

Aft staterooms: The aft cabins are identical and mirrored in layout. As one enters, outboard is a full height hanging locker, followed by a curved teak countertop with a round sink. Beneath the sink is a locker with a curved door. That curves around toward the hull and has a lifting vanity top with storage beneath and a locker above and forward of the lid. The berth is queen size. Teak staving lines the hull and a pair of large teak panels are on centerline and provide access to the engine compartment. The space is well lit and bright; there are opening ports to the cockpit and on the hull, with an opening hatch overhead and one fixed light as well. There are three overhead lights for further illumination; the 6’4” headroom makes it feel even more bright and spacious.
