Turn heads in any harbor aboard this 1970 Hinckley 38!
“Into the Blues” is a nice example of this true classic. On her 4th owner, this pretty cruiser was designed by Sparkman & Stephens and built by the legendary Hinckley Yard in Southwest Harbor, ME.
With a well-balanced sail-plan and sleek hull design, the Hinckley 38 is a swift sailer at every points of sail. Below deck features classic Hinckley design and quality with an open layout composed of 5 bunks, a sizeable galley, navigation station, separate electric head, and forward cabin.
Originally owned by Bob Hinckley (Henry Hinckley’s son). “Into the Blues” cruised on the Chesapeake Bay historically before being lightly sailed within Massachusetts Bay for the last 4 years.
The Hinckley 38 is known for its great sailing performance. Its expansive cockpit is nicely set up with control lines for the various sails along with a full bimini for those bright summer days. As a sloop rig, “Into the Blues” is easy to sail double-handed or with a complete racing crew.
