The Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 455 is a brand-new model in Jeanneau’s latest Sun Odyssey generation, representing a clear evolution in modern performance cruising design. Developed with a strong focus on balance, safety, and ease of handling, the 455 is built for sailors who want real sailing capability without sacrificing comfort or simplicity. Her refined hull design, with a wide beam carried aft, delivers excellent stability under sail while increasing interior volume and natural light below deck.

On deck, the Sun Odyssey 455 is designed for confident short-handed sailing. A twin-wheel cockpit provides excellent visibility and control, while the clean, open layout and flush side decks allow for safe and intuitive movement throughout the boat. Sail handling systems are thoughtfully arranged to reduce effort and complexity, making the boat equally suited to relaxed coastal cruising or longer offshore passages.

Below deck, the interior reflects Jeanneau’s contemporary approach to life onboard. Large hull windows flood the saloon with light, creating a warm and inviting living space. The layout offers a practical, well-equipped galley, a comfortable saloon for entertaining or relaxing, and flexible accommodation options, including an owner’s version. The brand-typical cockpit design with the Walkaround concept is of course also retained in the latest model. The recessed running decks allow safe, barrier-free passageways around the helm stations and at the same time ensure efficient handling during all manoeuvres. This concept has already proven itself many times over in tests of the current Sun Odyssey models.

Nevertheless, the cockpit design of the new flagship has been further developed. The high coamings now completely enclose the seat thwarts – even in the stern area. The sheet winches are positioned on platforms directly in front of the helm stations so that the helmsman and crew can work ergonomically and efficiently. Halyards and trim lines are led over the coachroof and operated on two stopper batteries with winches to the side of the companionway. As standard, the Sun Odyssey 455 is equipped with a twin-reef aluminium mast, classic mainsail and overlapping genoa. Alternatively, a furling mast or a self-tacking jib are available.
