GUEST CAPACITY AND CREW CABIN

ELLEE was never intended to maximize guest capacity. Instead, every design decision prioritized the experience of the owners living aboard for extended periods. She was conceived as an owner-operated yacht, therefore no dedicated crew cabin was incorporated into the original layout. However, the utility area within the starboard pontoon was intentionally equipped with electricity, water, and a sink so that it can be readily converted into crew accommodations should a future owner desire.

GALLEY

Positioned on the starboard side of the main deck, the galley forms the heart of ELLEE’s living spaces. Open to both the salon and cockpit, it creates a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor entertaining areas while providing all the amenities required for extended cruising and liveaboard comfort. ENGINE AND MECHANICAL

ELLEE combines efficient diesel propulsion with twin electric drives to create a remarkably flexible propulsion system ideally suited to long-range cruising. Her propulsion and machinery systems are centered around a large walk-in engine and machinery room that offers enhanced access for maintenance, inspection, and storage. The space is equipped with a soundproof aluminum engine-room door, engine-room ventilation, LED lighting, two infrared monitoring cameras, a remote oil filter system for simplified servicing, a dual Racor fuel filtration system, and an integrated fire suppression system. Propulsion is provided by a Cummins QSL9 diesel engine rated at 410 HP with approximately 1,500 hours, complemented by twin Bellmarine Drivemaster EVO 20kW electric propulsion motors with straight shafts and Gori three-blade folding propellers, carrying approximately 200 hours. Fuel capacity totals 5,140 liters through two 2,220-liter main tanks and a 700-liter day tank. The yacht carries an impressive 5,140 liters (1,358 gallons) of fuel in three aluminum tanks, including two 2,220-liter main tanks and a dedicated 700-liter day tank, providing exceptional range and flexibility for extended passages. Fresh water is supplied by a 1,000-liter (264-gallon) aluminum tank, supporting comfortable onboard living for owners and guests during extended voyages, while waste management is handled through three separate aluminum holding tanks with a combined capacity of 159 liters (42 gallons). ELECTRICAL SYSTEM

Designed for true worldwide cruising, ELLEE’s dual-voltage electrical system seamlessly accommodates both 220V and 110V shore power, allowing compatibility with marinas throughout Europe, North America, and many other cruising regions. Power generation is provided by a 22.5 kW Onan generator (approximately 420 hours), supplemented by 448 watts of Solbian solar panels, while an intelligent energy management system automatically starts and stops the generator based on battery charge levels. At the heart of the yacht’s electrical infrastructure is the CZone Touch 7 multiplex monitoring and control system, which centralizes management of lighting, battery status, tank levels, chargers, and onboard systems through an intuitive touchscreen interface. CZone technology is recognized for integrating digital switching, power monitoring, tank indication, and generator control into a single user-friendly platform. ELLEE features an exceptionally robust and professionally engineered energy management system designed to support extended cruising, at-anchor living, and the vessel’s hybrid operating capability. 

The system is centered around six 24-volt MLI Ultra 24/5500 lithium batteries supported by eight 24-volt Optima service batteries, providing substantial onboard energy storage and redundancy. Dedicated battery banks with MasterShunt monitoring are assigned to critical systems including the windlass, bow thruster, capstans, and tender-handling equipment, while separate dedicated starting batteries are provided for both the main engine and generator. Power conversion and charging are handled through a comprehensive Mastervolt and Victron architecture, including dual Mastervolt Mass Combi 3500 inverter/chargers delivering a combined 7,000 watts of inverter power, multiple automatic battery chargers, MPPT solar charge controllers, and a sophisticated Mastervolt Battery Management System. The yacht carries a Viking 8-person self-righting liferaft certified to ISO 9650-1 standards and approved by SOLAS and ISAF, complemented by an 8-person grab bag, EPIRB, SOLAS flare kit, signal flags, navigation lights, and multiple man-overboard recovery devices. Fire safety is addressed through strategically located fire extinguishers throughout the vessel, a fire blanket, engine-room fire suppression system, and an emergency shutdown system that can instantly stop the engine, generator, and engine-room ventilation in the event of fire. Electrical and Hybrid Propulsion System

ELLEE features an advanced hybrid electrical architecture centered around a 48V lithium battery system integrated with Bellmarine electric propulsion, solar charging, Mastervolt power management, multiple shore power configurations, and automatic generator management. This sophisticated system provides exceptional efficiency, redundancy, and onboard comfort while supporting remarkably low fuel consumption for a yacht of her size.

The hybrid propulsion system provides exceptional operational flexibility. Owners can maneuver quietly under electric power, reduce generator dependence while at anchor or underway, and take advantage of multiple charging sources including solar, shore power, alternator charging, and automatic generator management. The result is quieter cruising, greater energy independence, and reduced operating costs during extended voyages.

Hybrid Electrical System

ELLEE’s electrical system is centered around a 48V lithium battery bank, which can be charged from several sources:

• 22.5 kW Onan generator (220V), which may be programmed to automatically start when battery charge reaches approximately 20% and shut down once batteries are fully charged.
• 448 watts of Solbian solar panels.
• 48V alternator on the main diesel engine while underway.
• Shore power, with the ability to connect to:
  • 110V / 30A
  • 240V / 50A
  • 240V / 300A service

The shore power system is particularly convenient, with approximately 80 feet of cable that can be easily deployed and retrieved via remote control.

Power Distribution

The battery bank supplies power:

• Directly to the Bellmarine electric propulsion motors.
• Directly to the bow thruster.
• To the inverters, which distribute both 220V and 110V throughout the yacht.

Cruising speeds at 9.5 knots can be achieved at fuel consumption of approximately 1.6 liters per nautical mile (L/NM) under typical conditions.

The following operating figures were recorded during normal operation and should be considered approximate, as sea state, wind, current, loading, and bottom condition were not documented:

• 1500 rpm: approximately 22 L/hr at approximately 13 knots.
• 1400 rpm: approximately 17 L/hr at approximately 11 knots.
• 1300 rpm: approximately 12 L/hr at approximately 9 knots.
• 1050 rpm (26% throttle / 10% load): approximately 7.5 L/hr, or 1.09 L/NM, at approximately 7.5 knots.
• Approximately 9.5 knots can be achieved at about 1.6 L/NM under typical operating conditions.

Climate Control, Water Systems & Onboard Comfort
