Island Packets were built with a solid glass hull and a synthetically cored deck with an integral bow sprit, full foil keel plus a spade rudder.  Packets are very modern cruisers.  Her hull is beamier and flattter.  She is a cruiser with performance and a good many offshore cruising wins to her credit. “Sugaree” like all modern Packets is Cutter rigged with a high aspect sail plan.  She features 2022 Quantum135% Genoa and Staysail on Harken Furlers with furling lines and sheets led aft to the cockpit. The Charleston Spar in-the-mast Mainsail Furling System was installed by the previous owner.
