Successful 2021 Race Season for the Sun Fast 3300

Both at home and abroad, the Sun Fast 3300 continues to dominate in inshore and offshore races, racking up multiple race victories and podium finishes.

2022 Transquadra Race: Of the 75 boats that started the 2^nd stage of the 2022 Transquadra Race, 37 were Sun Fasts (49% of the fleet), of which 8 were 3300s. Alex Ozon skippered his Sun Fast 3300, SAPRISTI to victory in the Solo Division.

Ken Read continued his winning streak in 2021, skippering ALCHEMIST to victory in the 2021 New England Solo Twin, the 2021 Edgartown Race Weekend, ‘Round The Island Race’ and the 2021 Sail for Pride 20^th Anniversary Race.

Sailing double-handed on the Sun Fast 3300 Alchemist, Ken Read and Suzy Leech, collected a boatload of trophies for their ‘Round-the-Island (‘RTI) Race performance at the annual Edgartown Race Weekend, hosted by Edgartown Yacht Club on July 22-24. The most impressive piece of silverware — the duo won the prestigious Venona Trophy for best corrected time in the Spinnaker Division, which hosted six classes, the Eolis Trophy as top double-handed boat, Class 1/PHRF Spinnaker A, and claimed the Yacht Club Team Trophy for best corrected time by a three-boat team (New York Yacht Club).

Rob Alexander’s BYTE won the 2021 Vineyard Race and came 2^nd in the 2021 American Yacht Club Spring Regatta and the 2021 NYYC Annual Regatta.
